Fitness Challenge day 3...oops!


Has it been three days since I last wrote? Why yes it has.....sorry. My intentions were good. My motivation was there...somewhat. So what happened? Life, I'm afraid. Yep, life. I got busy and wrapped up in my own issues and crap. I had a disappointing work week and that got into my head more that I should have let it. I let myself become consumed in those work issues and forgot...myself. This is what we do when our intentions are so good and our head is in the right place and then all of a sudden we get hit with stress from work, family drama, illness, obligations....we forget ourselves and what we want and know is right for us. I begrudgingly dragged myself into the gym and did not give it my all like I have over the past couple of weeks. My mind just wasn't where is should have been. And all this after seeing some significant changes in my body. How depressing right? See, this is when we need to pull ourselves back up by the bootstraps and kick our own ass straight back on the path that made us feel good. Put down the Doritos (Roni) and pick up the peaches cup, lol.

I"m just a normal women in today's stressful world. Its ok, I don't need to beat myself black and blue over it. Recognition of your mistakes and flipping that switch in your head is all that is important. We will make mistakes because we are human.....just deal with it.

And yes, that bag of cookies over the weekend was super yummy but I don't hate myself for it. Applesauce, I missed you too.
